 Thanks to a generous donation from the Rockledge Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Board of Commissioners, the City of Rockledge is well on its way to implementing the City's first-ever community
garden! The garden, located at 889 Barton Boulevard, will feature 26 5-foot by 20-foot plots with raised beds, and the area will be secured with 6-foot fencing and a gate.
Located directly behind the CRA office, with a bit of hard work and dedication, this former eyesore will soon be transformed into a lush and beautiful garden that will help to teach self-reliance, provide nutritious food and foster community interaction.
The first planting is slated for sometime between the 1st and 15th of September. Membership fees are $45 annually, and to date, 25 of the 26 plots have been reserved. A waiting list will be maintained, so if you are interested in having your name placed on the list, please call 321.305.4975.
