The Florida Avenue District has seen many improvements over the last couple of years including:
- New North Welcome sign
- Improvements to the Morris Stormwater Park
- Re-alignment of Florida Avenue on the south side. Additional of a South Florida Business District Sign and landscaping
- New paving, fencing, landscape, and upgrades to Taylor Park’s frontage on Florida Avenue.
In 2005, the CRA implemented the Florida Avenue Business District Sign Leasing Program. Businesses on Florida Avenue can advertise on the sign by purchasing a sign for display. If you are a Florida Avenue Business and are interested in advertising, please download the application below.
